Animal welfare initiatives are more than ensuring animals are raised in comfortable surroundings.  Welfare continues through the entire value chain from farmgate to the plate.  Producers are committed to producing high quality, lean pork for its customers and the overall health and well being of an animal raised plays a significant role in the quality of the end product.  Canada is renowned for its quality pork and our products and breeding stock are exported to more than 90 countries.
