Board of Directors elect new executives
During its final meeting of 2025, the newly elected Sask Pork Board of Directors, which will represent Saskatchewan hog producers for the next two years, selected its executives.
Darrin Duell (Olymel) will serve as Board Chair, Neil Ketilson (Donald’s Fine Foods) takes over as Vice Chair, and Jason Hofer (Spring Lake Colony) becomes Audit Chair.
With the executive committee now in place, the board will continue to lead Sask Pork’s portfolios that include trade, advocacy, research, and on-farm programs.
Sask Pork was established in 1998 by the provincial Pork Industry Development Regulations pursuant to The Agri-Food Act.
Sask Pork represents pork producers across Saskatchewan who raise more than 2.7 million hogs annually, and is the 4th largest province in Canada in hogs marketed.
The Saskatchewan hog industry generates over $550 million in GDP and contributes over 3,100 full-time jobs to the provincial economy.
