Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month

  • Sask Pork 2-502 45th Street West Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7L 6H2 Canada (map)

Sask Pork is teaming up with Agriculture In The Classroom Saskatchewan for the 2022 Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month. We are looking for producers, barn staff, and anyone involved with raising pigs in Saskatchewan to explore Connections in Agriculture with students. Each volunteer will have the opportunity to be supplied with a book to read and an engaging activity in either a virtual or in-person classroom setting.

Students will get to ask questions about farming like how what do pigs eat, where do they sleep, and more!

Join in the fun of learning about where food comes from with students from across Canada by sharing your experience on social media and tagging #CALM22.

For more information or to register, please contact: Jessica Podhordeski at (306)952-5975 or jessica@saskpork.com. Registration must be complete by February 4, 2022.
