Caribbean Rub

A quick and easy rub full of classic Caribbean ingredients. It makes enough for 4 pork chops, a 2 lb / 1 kg pork roast or 1 lb / 500 g pork ribs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp / 5 mL thyme

  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) EACH allspice, garlic and onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) cayenne pepper and pinch black pepper

Directions

  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients and rub all over your choice of meat and barbeque.
